"SPIRAL OF NATURE"

My senior collection of rich, earth-toned fabrics was inspired by the patterns of nature. My research focused on the spiral in nature and the mathematical harmony found in the human body's movement. I created body art from the movement of my limbs in a protractor motion. The pattern's center was the core of my body, akin to the center of a flower. I interpreted the symmetrical patterns in the garments' seaming and the print found on the hand-woven fabric.
