On behalf of the Fashion School, we welcome you to the Annual Fashion Show’s 2016 presentation, Crescendo. We gather every year to view the inspired designs that travel down our runway. This year, moved by the magnitude of this occasion, we strove to capture that excitement in the theme of our production.

 

For many students, the Annual Fashion Show represents the moment their Kent State experience builds to a crescendo. Each design reflects a unique point of view, yet all share in the glow of this climactic moment. With Crescendo, we recognize not only students’ accomplishments but the journey they undertook to get here.

 

As senior co-producers, we were honored and inspired to deliver on the prestige this show has established over its 33-year history. We believe it is a fitting cap to the academic and industry-based experiences we’ve enjoyed the past several years. It is also a tribute to our team of 15 coordinators and their respective committees, who were instrumental

in bringing Crescendo to life.

We would like to thank our management team, show advisors, the Fashion School faculty and Director J.R. Campbell, and everyone who has supported us through the process of creating this show. Today, we all share in this crescendo.
